Post Oak Inn

We had hoped to stay in town since parking can sometimes be a hassle but since we waited to the last minute to make our reservations, we ended up staying a little further out from downtown. Our home for two nights was the Post Oak Inn (501 Post Oak Road, Fredericksburg, TX 78624· 830/990-8767). Being an animal lover, I was won over by the dog and the 2 month old lamb. As is usual with B&Bs, the room was cozy and well appointed. But, if you are planning on getting up early to watch the Formula One race - forget it! There is no tv!
