A pair of 507 Roadsters with a BMW 700 in the background. The contrast here is eloquent. BMW was in dire financial trouble for building expensive cars that weren't profitable. The company was saved by building lower cost basic transportation vehicles like the 700 you see here.

The 507 Roadster was produced during the period of 1950-1959. 254 vehicles were built. The car was designed by Count Albrecht von Goertz and is considered to be a true classic of the post war era. Its elegant design and performance set the standard in the late 50's for high performance personal motoring.
